The house, a maison de maitre, was a shell when owners bought it in 2020 and with the help of an architect the entire building has been renovated at huge cost. The roof has been completely renewed and insulated and a garage accessible from the hall has been added.

Double glazing with built-in mosquito screens. A beautiful, full-length sunroom also with new double glazing and built-in mosquito screens, all of top quality. Large living room/kitchen spanning the entire width of the house with brand new custom fitted kitchen and all appliances. Separate pantry with all new custom cabinetry. The land divides into the parcel around the house which has been fenced with French chestnut fencing to provide charming sitting areas around the house and under the enormous trees and the remaining 8 or so hectares.  With 2 lakes and 2 wells the land has been turned into a nature reserve full of wildflowers. The two lakes are connected to a stream and so are provided with circulation and fresh water (depth sometimes up to 3 m!) ideal for swimming. Present owners have started to create a biosphere and one gets the feeling of being really in the country yet shops are only 3 minutes away.

Bias, all major shops right at the doorstep (almost!).  Toulouse 1.5 hours, Bordeaux 1.5 hours and Agen for the TGV, 30 minutes.
