A truly remarkable, historic chateau dating from 1190, with numerous later additions having been lovingly restored by its current custodians who have occupied the castle for the last three generations.  Located in the beautiful rolling valleys of the Lot et Garonne, situated a thirty minute drive to the bustling small city of Agen with its fast TGV link to Paris (3 hours), and 1-15 minute drive to Toulouse.

Comprising a magnificent castle, presented in excellent structural condition with numerous reception rooms including the main sitting room with a monumental stone fireplace and beamed ceiling with original frescoes.  Retaining a wealth of period features from the original stone fireplaces, terracotta floor tiles, beamed ceilings, stone work and truly spectacular 15th century oak spiral staircase, believed to be the only one of its type still in existence.  There is even still retaining the original torture salon in the dungeons!
