Overview
Your own little hamlet with spectacular views.
Interior and Garden
The quintessential French stone farmhouse / mini estate, comprising of main farmhouse, gîte, annexe, various barns and a workshop all set at the end of a private lane behind electric gates. A beautiful location with no near neighbours in 3.8 hectares of land, with some of the best views in the department over a 13th century chateau.
Dating from 1750 and owned by the current owners for the last twenty five years, the property has been the subject of many improvements and is presented in excellent condition. We particularly love the design of the swimming pool…the best we’ve seen for a long time.
The main house is part double glazed with gas heating and log burning stove, tiled floors and built in kitchen with exposed beams and stone work.
The second property – an ideal gîte or guest accommodation, and annexe currently used as an artist studio but easily convertible to another gite. Garage /workshop and large open cart barn, huge well and ruins of old bread oven all set in a spectacular location with charming, well established gardens, five minutes to local amenities.
The Area
This house is just outside a calm, picturesque village built around the chateau. Situated at the end of a lane giving privacy and quiet. The towns of Moissac and Valence d’Agen, with their bars, restaurants, shops, schools, medical centres and classical Quercy architecture are within easy driving distance. Both towns still have superb markets each week. Toulouse Airport is an hour and 20 minutes away.
